How to bleed Avid Juicy 3, 5 and 7 along with Elixir
I am big fan of the Avid Juciy 7s, however I just recently threw some Avid Elixir R brakes on my Demo 8 and I am quite impressed with the stopping power/modulation.
Knowing how to properly bleed Avid brakes is KEY to getting them dialed in, this video should help. The Juicy bleep procedure also applies to the Elixir brakes.
How to bleed your Hayes disc brakes
Hayes 9 were the first hydraulic brakes I ever used. They are a great all-around brake, and very easy to maintain if you are the DIY type.
The Hayes Stroker and Hayes 9 have an almost identical bleed procedure.
