Stuck with Post to IS Mount!
Can you help me find the right Adaptor to fit my disc brake callipers to my new front forks?
I have:
160 mm Disc
B4 Formula Calliper IS Mount
Rock Shock Post Mount disc brake standard
I bought an adapter from a bike shop for Post Mount to an IS Mount. This is a very similar one except the one I bought was for 160 mm discs: http://tinyurl.com/36qw65w
This didnt work as the calliper would not fit on.
This is a discontinued brake but I found the user manual and parts diagram:

Parts Diagram: http://www.propelbike.com/tech-docs/formula-exploded/older-systems.pdf

This is a picture and description of the new forks im using:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Vid taken in brewery post quake
Painful to see so much spilt beer but I take solace in the fact that its only a lion Nathan brewery (akin to NZ's budweiser).

Is Avalanche still a contender?
A friend of mine just converted his 09 888 Air with the Avalanche 20mm internals. He said it completely changed the feel of the 888 for the better.
I've been away from DH for about 5 years and still have my Foes Mono that I'd like to clean up and ride. the mono I have was the last year of the old design before the 2:1. The Curnutt shock that I got never felt right even after sending it in, the dial adjustments were so hard to turn i just said eff it and rode.
Was wondering if Avy is still good stuff or is it old tech? If so does anyone know who makes a shock as big, eye to eye, as the Curnutt?

Made an impulse car purchase tonight.
Might be one of my better ones. 1985 Nissan 720 4WD pickup. $400 can't really be wrong.
Needs a few items, but nothing awful, plus it's a breeze to work on compared to the Porsche 944 I've been wrenching on for awhile.
Anyone here have experience? Need to fix a couple more pressing electrical issues before it passes inspection (turn signals and speedo).
